As we grew up, we observed many families and couples around us, some of whom had marriages that lasted for only a few months, while others lasted for decades. Strangely, we don’t see many happy women in any of these marriages. In many cases, men distanced themselves from their wives over time, leading to the breakdown of their relationships. Women usually felt unloved in such relationships, leading them to lose respect for their partners. Men sensed this lack of respect and stopped showing their affection, which perpetuated a vicious cycle that often led to breakups, divorces, or unhappy marriages. To avoid falling victim to this cycle, my partner and I established a Friday date night tradition that allowed us to express our love and enthusiasm for each other.
We tediously pick a different restaurant each time. This is one of our favorite activities; even the advertisements we’ve seen recently on Instagram are for restaurants in Prague. We both might have a busy schedules during the week, but we always make sure to keep our Friday date night tradition alive. It’s a chance for us to unwind and connect after a long week. We look forward to it all week and get excited about trying out new places.
As we searched for new restaurants to try for our Friday date nights, we encountered challenges with the outdated or inadequate tools available. That’s why we decided to build a website that would simplify the process of planning date nights or dinners and help people find the perfect spot to meet their needs. We also try to provide a wealth of information on each venue, including photos, menus, and intelligent review points, and we aim to keep it updated with the latest information to ensure informed decision-making.
It is important to prioritize and nurture a relationship, especially in today’s fast-paced world. I am grateful for our tradition and for the memories we’ve created through it. I hope that someday we can pass it down to our children and grandchildren as a reminder of the importance of love and connection in life.

Morty, our beloved corgi, is the true mascot of our lives and the unofficial spirit of BitesofPrague. With his fluffy coat and perpetual smile, he’s impossible to ignore and always ready to make his presence known. His life mission? Food. Morty is laser-focused when it comes to treats, and he has perfected the art of looking irresistibly cute just to snag a bite. Whether it’s a crumb on the floor or a gourmet snack we dare to eat in front of him, Morty is always on duty.
