How do you categorize the places you review?
We’ve kept it simple by dividing places into two categories: food spots and chill zones. Food spots are places where the main focus is on eating, like restaurants. Chill zones are spaces like cafes and shisha lounges where the vibe is more about relaxing. If a place is both a cafe and a restaurant, we still call it a chill zone because it’s not just about the food.
How do you calculate the review score?
We’ve created nine criteria for food spots and eight for chill zones. These help us come up with a final score. Each criterion matters differently, so they have varying weights in the calculation. It’s our way of keeping things thoughtful but still personal.
How do you ensure your reviews are unbiased?
Honestly, we don’t try to be unbiased. Our reviews reflect our tastes and lifestyle, and we’re okay with that. You might see things differently, and we completely respect that.
How often do you update reviews?
If we love a place, we tend to visit it again throughout the year. When we notice something worth sharing, we’ll update the review to keep it fresh.
